Noticing the little things.. I think usually that’s what make people fall for someone more. Sometimes the little things they do has different effects on us. Like, the way they mess their hair when they’re fed up. The way they bite their lips when you tease them. When they do these weird smiles because they’re making fun of you. Or even the way they look straight to your eyes because you told them not to look. It’s these little things.. that make people fall even more.. Having these moments with someone you thought you just liked but unknowingly love.. These are the moments we cherish more.

Used to. Not anymore. I don’t let guys define me anymore. I let them think what they want just as long as my friends and I know the truth. I try really hard not to care but then, there are still those nights that I did. Eventhough I didn’t want to because letting them mess with my head again will only make me suffer harder. And in the end, the one who loses is still me. I never win. Before, it’s like I’m stuck in this pool of insanity, despair, and ironically.. hope. And even though I know I shouldn’t be swimming, I won’t stop. I enjoyed that kind of pain. But you know what they say, it’s all in the past. Just as long as I learned something from it, it’s okay to make mistakes. We’re just humans after all. =))

That feeling when someone just starts to ignore you without even knowing why. Did you do something bad? Said something bad? What? It’s unfair to leave people clueless all the time. And when we read between the lines, we end up assuming something that’s far from the truth. And at the end of the day, who ends up broken? Us. Damn. Mamansin kasi kayo. :pp

Day 5 Part 2 of our Cebu Experience! :)
Last stop before heading to the airport was the Imperial Palace. Too bad it was a weekend, tourists were not allowed to wander around the resort. Luckily, the guards were kind enough to let us take some pictures.
Since we were divided into two vans that time, we were first to arrive. And we took the opportunity to do a photo op with just the six of us. :)

Day 5 part 1 of our Cebu Experience! :)
Headed straight to Taoist Temple after lunch with Mr. Chua, apparently he’s an influential businessman in Cebu. Anyhoo, the view from the Taoist Temple is amazing. :) It was nice place to go to. There was a wishing pond on its rooftop so all of us took chances in letting our wishes be heard. :)

Day 4 Part 1 of the Cebu Experience. :)
We first had lunch on SM Cebu and also bought some snacks for our trip to the beach! Yayy! Mind you, I was the most excited person to go the beach that day. What happened? After wandering in the water for about 2 minutes, I got stung by some jellyfishes. Damn. My friends teased me about it. :( It was a nice beach, white sand and all. We were supposed to go Banana Boating but the price was very expensive. I’ve been to other beaches before but the price there totally hit the sky. So we passed. We also played, I mean, they played Luksong Baka while I took pictures of them. Too bad I don’t have any of ‘em included. It was a nice place to go to. =))

Day 3 of the Cebu Experience! =))
The first destination was Magellan’s Cross. It was a historic place. No wonder it’s a tourist destination. And the Church… beautiful. It kinda has this vintage vibe that makes the place breathtaking. =) I lit 3 candles that day. And prayed for a miracle, if you know what I mean. >:))
We then had lunch at CT Lechon’s. I am again not sure of the name of place. I’m not gonna say how delicious the Lechon was because obviously, it’s the place’s specialty so it HAS TO BE very masarap. :)
Then we went to Plantation Bay. Funny thing was, I never expected our destination was a resort. I kind of have it imagined in my head that the place will somehow resemble a farm because of the word PLANTATION. Hehehe. Nonetheless, the place is also breathtaking. A perfect haven for those who want to escape the roars and the pressure of Manila.
The last stop before having dinner was the Mactan Shrine where a big bronze statue of our very first national hero, Lapu-Lapu stood. We also bought some pasalubongs there. It was a perfect way to end the day. All of us sat on the grass and chatted on how else will we spend our remainding days in Cebu.

Day 2 of the Cebu experience via PATLEPAM Conference.
This day was the announcement of winners. And yea, we won! Woo. Animo La Salle Araneta! I think this only goes to show that people from Araneta are not really the so-so people we often get stereotyped for. We are unique and we have an impact in the society, specifically, the environment. Us, winning the competition is one way of proving that.
Anyhoo, after the annoucement of winners, we had a city tour which was part of the programme. We went to Nalusuan Island I think, I’m not sure. And I’m too lazy to search for it on the net, so bear with me. It was a beautiful place. Definitely worth going back to. =)

Day 1 of our Cebu experience! =)
Well, we originally went to Cebu for a conference entitled PATLEPAM. It’s actually a conference for senior educators’ various researches on different fields but concerning the environment. Imagine our pressure knowing we were the only students to present.
It was a good experience for us. We were nervous because our adviser told us we’re only gonna answer some questions for our poster. We never thought we’d be presenting it. So we presented it on the spot.
Good thing we’re good at what we were doing. Naks! =)) So we were able to do it well.

T’was a bad day for all of us. Our thesis were all criticized, some were even rejected. To make ourselves feel better, we wanted to drink, we wanted to have fun but sadly the circumstances and fate won’t allow us to. The first 3 places we thought of won’t let us due to certain events. Our houses were unfortunately unavailable. So we ended on this coffee shop called Coffee City.
At first I was asking if we could drink there but they refused. When we went upstairs, we were welcomed by a very cozy room. It was an instant “pogi point” for the place. It also had wi-fi, adding another point. Surprisingly, the drinks were all good. I really enjoyed their Wildberries Tea and their Moccachino (best-seller). They also have pizza there. Mind you, their best-seller is the Laing Pizza. Cool. =)) And finally, the staff were really nice. =)
We got ate Joyce’s number so we’d talk to her first to make sure the 2nd floor of the shop is free before going back. =)
Maybe fate didn’t let us find a place to drink for us to discover Coffee City. I feel as though lots of things are still going to be happen there. =)
